Mailboxes and Passwords

Create and maintain inboxes directly from the Plan Manager.

Mailboxes are full IMAP/POP accounts with their own password and quota. Everything lives inside the domain card so you keep related settings together.

Please refer to the domains DNS instructions for more information on how to configure all mandatory DNS records before creating a mailbox.

Creating a mailbox

  1. Open Plan Manager → Domains and expand the domain you want.
  2. Click the Mailboxes section to reveal the list.
  3. Use Add mailbox and provide:
    • The local part (what appears before @domain.com).
    • A strong password.
    • An optional quota if you want to override the plan default.
  4. Save and wait for the success message. The list refreshes automatically.

The inbox can then be accessed through your dedicated Webmail link or any desktop/mobile mail app that supports IMAP/SMTP. These same credentials can also be used to send email from your application, website or whatever else your use case requires.

Editing a mailbox

Select Edit on any mailbox to change the password or quota. Leaving a field blank keeps the current value, so you can bump storage without forcing a password rotation.

Removing a mailbox

Click Remove to permanently delete the account and all of its contents. Always export important mail beforehand or take a backup from the header controls.

Tips

  • Use descriptive mailbox names such as support@, billing@ or firstname@ to keep routing clear.
  • Raise quotas sparingly; the usage widget in the Overview tab shows total storage so you can avoid running out unexpectedly.
  • When rolling out multiple inboxes, create them first, then schedule IMAP Sync jobs to copy legacy mail in bulk.
