Email Logs & Troubleshooting

Use the live email logs to answer delivery questions before opening a ticket.

Every domain includes searchable delivery logs. They help you diagnose issues in a quick, easy-to-read format.

Opening the logs

  1. Go to Plan Manager → Domains.
  2. Expand the domain.
  3. Open the Email Logs section.

We load the most recent seven days automatically. Pagination keeps navigation fast even on busy domains.

Filtering results

Use the filter controls above the list to narrow the data set:

  • From / Until – set exact timestamps (up to seven days apart) to study a specific window
  • State – show delivered, deferred, failed or unknown events, or keep “All” to see everything
  • Direction – inbound, outbound or both
  • Email – search for a sender or recipient address

Click Apply filters to refresh, or Reset to go back to defaults.

Reading a log entry

Each log line shows:

  • Sender and recipient
  • Subject preview (if available)
  • Delivery state badges with colors (green for success, red for failures, yellow for deferred)
  • Direction (Inbound/Outbound)
  • Timestamp, size and protocol details
  • Provider feedback, which often contains the remote rejection reason

When something fails

  1. Re-run the request to ensure it was not a temporary hiccup.
  2. Note the timestamp, sender, recipient and error message.
  3. Copy that information into a support ticket if you need help. Including the data speeds up troubleshooting dramatically.

Other quick checks

  • Revisit the Usage tab to make sure you are not out of storage or bandwidth.
  • Double-check DNS in case a recent change introduced typos.
  • Use the Spam and Catch-all controls if messages appear missing; they may be routed elsewhere intentionally.
